Moldova and Ukraine will mutually recognize diplomas and scientific titles. A bilateral agreement to this effect was approved today by the government, IPN reports.
According to the Ministry of Education and Research, the treaty defines the types of educational documents, from all levels of education, that will be mutually recognized. These include certificates issued upon completion of general education studies as well as scientific titles, emphasizing stronger educational cooperation between Moldova and Ukraine.
Additionally, the agreement allows for the recognition of teaching degrees and academic titles obtained by personnel in general and vocational education.
"This decision will encourage professional mobility between Moldova and Ukraine, with a focus on supporting the educational process for refugee children from the neighboring country. The agreement will also facilitate the integration of Ukrainian teachers into Moldova’s labor market," stated the Ministry of Education and Research.
