Dimitriana Bezede missed the chance to qualify for the shot put final of the Olympic Games in Paris. The athlete attained 16.35 meters at a time when the qualification level was 19.15 meters, IPN reports.
The athlete from the Republic of Moldova ranked penultimate in Group B, out of 15 participants. In the general rankings, the athlete took the 27th spot out of 31 participants.
Dimitriana Bezede is at her third participation in the Olympics. She also contended at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo.
