The prices of gasoline have increased following a shortage of oil products on the home market and the modification of the oil quotations on the world stock markets, Deputy Minister of Economy and Trade Tudor Copaci said, commenting on the rise of 0.8 lei in the price of gasoline, Info-Prim Neo reports. “The rise is not significant, of 9% on average, and is the first this year. Most probably, the importers used up the stocks of oil products that they purchased earlier,” the deputy minister said. Asked if the prices of diesel oil will also go up, Copaci said that it depends on the situation on the world markets. The prices of diesel oil and liquefied gas remained unchanged for the time being. Gasoline coded A 95 grew dearer from 8.80 lei to 9.58 lei – 9.6 lei, while gasoline coded A 92 – to 9.2 lei. A liter of diesel oil costs 9.6 lei.
