For the Bloc ACUM, a dialogue with the Party of Socialists will be fatal. But the fate of this dialogue will depend on the internal fight given inside the bloc, political commentator Corneliu Ciurea was quoted by IPN as saying in the talk show “Fabrika” on Publika TV channel. According to him, if it decides to cooperate with the PSRM, the Bloc ACUM will remain on the political arena, but will disappear swiftly if it cooperates with the Socialists.
The political commentator noted the Bloc ACUM is tempted to start talks with the Party of Socialists. A harsh struggle is given inside the bloc between a majority of politicians who are for discussions with the Socialists and a minority that is against. That’s why what the Bloc ACUM says today is ambiguous. “It is an invitation to have a dialogue with the Socialists, but this is barely acceptable to the PSRM,” stated Corneliu Ciurea.
Commentator Anatol Țăranu said that if the Socialists take part in a parliamentary majority, they will promote a clear policy aimed at reorienting the Republic of Moldova to the Eastern area that is dominated by oligarchy by definition. “So, they take us to that area. What remains of principledness, ‘political virginity’ then?” he asked.
Anatol Țăranu noted the Socialists parliamentary group will return from its visit to Moscow with very clear instructions. “If they do not come somehow into contact with the PDM, it will mean this is the decision of Moscow, not of the Socialists. It means the PDM, headed by Plahotniuc, are fully removed by Moscow from the game. The same Moscow wants to introduce the Bloc ACUM in the game, but partially destroys it,” stated the commentator.
