The dialogue between the PCRM and PDM advanced significantly and is rather constructive, the president of the Democratic Party Marian Lupu said after a meeting with the leader of the Communists Party Vladimir Voronin on December 27 in the evening, Info-Prim Neo reports. “On Tuesday, in the first half of the day, we will continue the discussions on this subject. We spoke about the principles of equilibrium and consensus. Depending on the results of Tuesday's discussions, we may convene the party's National Council the coming days. We also discussed aspects concerning depoliticization,” Marian Lupu told the reporters. For his part, Vladimir Voronin said Monday's discussions with the PDM were the most fruitful so far, but there are yet a number of issues that must be addressed. “We are those who are empowered to take the final decision. In order to take final decisions, we must convene the councils or central committees. We want to calm things down and celebrate the holidays peacefully,” he said. On Monday, December 27, the PDM also took part in the tenth round of talks with the PLDM and PL at the state residence. The Democrat leader said after the meeting that the discussions were complex and will go on.
