A 47-year-old man held in Penitentiary No. 8 of Bender was found dead with signs of violence on the body. This served time for murder, IPN reports.
On its website, the National Administration of Penitentiaries says the relatives of the detainee, the Bender Prosecutor’s Office, the local police and the people’s ombudsman were informed about this case.
An internal inquiry was launched to determine the circumstances of this incident. The cause of death is to be found out by medical examiners.
