The tender contest to repair the section of 31 August St between the streets Alexandr Pushkin and Metropolitan Bishop Gavriil Bănulescu-Bodoni in central Chisinau will be announced after an urban planning certificate is obtained. The head of the General Urban Mobility Division Vitalie Mihalache said that an application to get the certificate was submitted and work was done with the team of experts to identify a solution to rehabilitate that section, IPN reports.
In the ordinary meeting of officials of municipal services, the official said that the project and the solution will be discussed and coordinated with the Ministry of Culture so as to later launch the designing process and finish the execution project. Tendering for the repair services will be possible afterward.
Vitalie Mihalache noted that they want the old pavement discovered on that section to be kept and a recreation and training area to be created there.
Works to build pluvial drainage ways in the area that is lower than level of the street, towards the street Pushkin and Bănulecu-Bodoni, need to be executed as part of the conservation works there.
