Details about reexamination of pensions as of January 1, 2020

The National House of Social Insurance said the persons whose old-age pensions were set before January 1, 1999 and have an insurance period of at least 15 years can have their pension recalculated, IPN reports.

As from January 2, 2020, the applicant should file an application to the local social insurance house and present the identity card, the employment record book and, if necessary, the higher education diploma, military book and other documents in the original and also copies of these. The new pension is paid starting with the month coming after the month the application is submitted.

As if January 1, 2019, there were reexamined the pensions of persons who retired after January 1, 1999 and have an insurance period of 15 years and more.

According to the National House of Social Insurance, about 3,400 persons had their pensions recalculated this year.
