The guild aged eight who was saved by rescuers on Christmas is now safe at home, near her mother. Specialists will offer her the necessary assistance, including psychological one.
Zinaida Micleușanu, head of the Municipal Division for the Protection of Children’s Rights, has told IPN that the girl is the only child of the family that hasn’t been under the supervision of the tutelage bodies so far. Now that this case became known, they will take measures to determine why the child resorted to such a gesture and what actually happened. Representatives of the tutelage authorities were yesterday near the child. The family will be investigated medically, psychologically and socially.
Zinaida Micleușanu called on the parents not to leave the children at home alone, even if the children are older. If they have to go to work or have other emergencies, they should seek help from relatives or neighbors so that they supervise the minor.
According to press officer of the Chisinau Police Division Natalia Stati, it was determined that the girl was alone at home when the indent happened. The mother was at work, while the father is working abroad. When all the circumstances are identified it will be decided whether the parents will be punished or nor for leaving the child in danger.
Rescuers of the General Inspectorate for Emergencies saved the girl who was seen hanging by passersby on a balcony on the 12th floor of an apartment building on Christmas celebrated according to the new style. The rescuers forced the door. After the operation was completed, the girl was handed over to an ambulance team.
