The girl aged 12 who was found dead in a forest between the villages Chițcani and Merenești of Căușeni district two days ago committed suicide according to the preliminary version of the police bodies of the Transnistrian region, IPN reports.
Investigators are taking steps to determine the cause that could have made her kill herself. The official cause of death will be announced after the medical-legal examination that lasts for about two weeks is performed.
According to Transnistrian press reports, on February 17 the girl went to the Chițcani Monastery together with her grandmother. At a certain moment, she went out of the Monastery and disappeared.
