Deputy Head of Parliament Andrian Candu will make an approach to the European authorities and will ask them to ban the access of the heavyweights of the Communist Party (PCRM) and the leader of the Party of Socialists (PSRM) Igor Dodon to the EU, IPN reports.
Candu argued that the given persons disparage the European values. “I’m indignant at the fact that the leaders of the PCRM criticize the European values, but spend their vacations in the EU countries. I will send a letter to Brussels and will ask that their access to the European Union be restricted,” he stated.
The Deputy Speaker made his intention public following statements about the crisis in Ukraine made by heavyweights of the two parties. “We condemn the cynical attitude of the PCRM and the leader of the PSRM Igor Dodon towards the events in Kiev. I make this statement as an MP and as a man. I cannot accept those who struggle for the European ideals to be named traitors,” said Andrian Candu.
