Deputy Prime Minister Nicu Popescu, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, during October 21-22 will be paying a working visit to Kiev at the invitation of his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba. The discussions with Ukrainian officials will center on the main aspects of the bilateral cooperation, including the acceleration of the implementation of infrastructure projects, the European agendas, cooperation in the energy sector and the environment, augmentation of trade and settlement of the Transnistrian conflict, IPN reports.
The program of the visit announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration includes meetings with Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba, Deputy Minister on European Integration Ihor Yaremenko, chairman of the Board of “Naftogaz” Yuriy Vitrenko, Moldova’s representatives to the OSCE monitoring mission in Ukraine.
On October 22, Nicu Popescu and Dmytro Kuleba will give a joint news conference inside the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. The event will be broadcast live on the Facebook page of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration.
