Deputy Prime Minister Nicu Popescu, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, will pay a working visit to Romania on Tuesday. In Bucharest, the head of the Moldovan diplomatic service will have meetings with his Romanian counterpart Luminita Odobescu and other officials, IPN reports.
“We will discuss the development and extension of the bilateral partnership and also the next steps needed to start the negotiations on our country’s accession to the European Union,” said Nicu Popescu.
The two ministers of foreign affairs will make statements for the press starting at 3:10 p.m.
