Under a Government Decision, the producer prices are approved for a year, from the day the minister of health makes the order. Over 65% of these drugs are made in the EU, 20.4% - in the CIS, while 7.14% in Moldova.

The prices of another 2,726 names of drugs will be reviewed owing to the modification of the exchange rate of the national currency against the currency of the producing country. Eleven drugs will be excluded from the Notational Catalogue of Prices.

The new prices were set based on an exchange rate of 12.76 lei per one dollar and of 16.97 lei per one euro.
