Dental medical assistance at state policlinics, including in the municipality of Chisinau, is provided now only in emergencies and the situation will be similar next week as well. The planned visits were suspended.
Contacted by IPN for a comment, Veronica Istrati, head of the Information and Communication with the Mass Media Division of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, said the municipal and national dental offices are open, but offer assistance to patients only in emergencies.
In the period between March 30 and April 3, the employees of medical-sanitary institutions, public health institutions and auxiliary services for public health institutions and also the employees of social and emergency assistance services and family doctors will work as usual.
The employees of the public sector, except for healthcare workers, will not go to work next week, as of March 30, as the Commission for Exceptional Situations decided on March 26. The measure does not apply to the public sector employees.
