Demographic situation in Moldova in 2008 represented on poster issued in 600 copies

A set of maps titled “Republic of Moldova. Demographic Situation, 2008” was worked out as part of a joint project of the UNDP, UNIFEM, UNFPA and UNICEF. The nine maps and five graphics with the main demographic indicators for 2008 were included in a poster (at 4 scales), Info-Prim Neo reports. The poster will be distributed among government and public authorities and other users of official statistical data. “On the poster, we represented the statistical indicators in a graphic form so as to make them accessible and easily comprehensible to the users of statistical data,” project manager Aurelia Spataru says in a communiqué from the UNDP. The poster was issued in 600 copies and is available in Romania, Russian and English.
