The Parliament Friday sent the bill on the regulation of entrepreneurial activities by licensing to the commission for economy, budget and finance for reexamination after the Democrat lawmakers voted against it. The MPs argued the bill removes the universities from the list of institutions that must obtain a license to work, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the Democratic Party's head Marian Lupu, the state must keep the situation in education under control. “I insist that that the universities should be further licensed. We must not return to the chaos of the 1990s,” Marian Lupu said. Veaceslav Ionita, the chairman of the commission for economy, budget and finance has another opinion. He considers the license is only an indulgence and is not so important. As the Democrats voted against, the project could not be passed and was sent back for reexamination.
