Workplaces in rural areas, roads and services of a high quality, modern schools, kindergartens and hospitals – these are the priories of the Democratic Party's candidates that were enumerated by the PDM leader Marian Lupu during the opening of the party's campaign for the local general elections on April 27, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the PDM's public relations service.
Marian Lupu said the PDM's candidates are honest, experienced persons who are able to improve the living standards in towns and villages. According to Marian Lupu, they know how to take care of the ordinary people and can come to terms with all the partners. He said the representatives of the PDM will immediately start work in the settlements where they will win the elections so as to improve the quality of life there.
The leader of the PDM also said that they aim to reunify the Moldovan society that was split by conflicts and scandals. Moldova's Acting President expressed his confidence that the revival of the country will start at local level, from the rural mayors' offices and from the conciliation of the ordinary people.
Marian Lupu stressed that the PDM will conduct a correct and decent campaign and will promote the real political and cultural values and the country's Europeanization.
The party also aims to stimulate the reforms so as to ensure the local public authorities' autonomy in making decisions and managing the local finances.
