MP Vladimir Cebotari is the candidate of the Democratic Party for the position of general mayor of Chișinău municipality. He is due to submit election registration documents to the Electoral Council of the Chișinău Municipal Electoral District no. 1, on Thursday, September 19.
Vladimir Cebotari is 38 years old. Between 2008 - 2010 he was chairman of the Board of Directors of the "Gara Nord" JSC. From December 2011 to June 2013, he was director at the Civil Aviation Authority of the Republic of Moldova. From June 2013 to April 2015, he served as deputy minister of transport and roads infrastructure, while at the same time, from January to July 2014, he was chairman of the Board of Directors of the "MoldATSA" SOE.
From April to July 2015 he was general director of the state-owned enterprise "Calea Ferată din Moldova", while on July 30, 2015, he was appointed minister of justice.
