The pro-European parliamentary groups will manage to form a governing coalition, but the process will be a difficult one. The issue was developed in the talk show “Fabrika” on Publika TV channel, IPN reports.

The dean of the Faculty of Law of the Moldova Free International University Alexandru Cauia considers the pro-European parties will form an alliance because they have to, not because they want to. “On the one hand, the Liberal Party will impose its conditions for taking part in the ruling alliance. On the other hand, the delay in forming the government will cause major problems. The formation of a parliamentary coalition is inevitable,” he stated.

Expert of the Institute for Development and Social Initiative “Viitorul” Corneliu Ciurea said the delay in forming an alliance will have catastrophic effects. “The ordinary people will be the most affected. I think the delay in forming the ruling alliance until after July can be described as criminal,” he stated.

Political analyst Roman Mihaes considers the ruling alliance will be formed by four parties – the PLDM, PDM, PL and PCRM. “We have the financial crisis, the crisis in agriculture, the suspension in the relations with the external partners. Forming a ruling alliance until the end of July is the only solution. I think the negotiations between parties will start next Monday. The matter of the election of the President is yet open to question. I think an alliance of four parties will have to be ultimately formed,” he said.

One of the former founders and leaders of the PSRM Valentin Krylov is also for the PCRM’s participation in governance. “We should not forget that the head of state will have to be elected next March. I think the opposition should be offered instruments for controlling the government. These are fully objective demands,” stated Krylov.
