Aspects regarding the intensification of Moldovan-German bilateral cooperation were discussed during a meeting between Prime Minister Dorin Recean with the new coordinator for cooperation with the Republic of Moldova in the Bundestag, Robin Wagener.

Dorin Recean presented the main priorities of the Government, including the acceleration of the European integration process, the strengthening of the defense and security sector and economic development. The prime minister stated the investment opportunities offered by the Republic of Moldova through the IT Park, the Free Economic Zones and reiterated the Government’s willingness to intensify commercial and economic relations with Germany.

“We will create several platforms for interaction with representatives of civil society, so that the voice of citizens from every corner of the country reaches the authorities. This is how a true democracy is built, according to the model of the EU states”, Dorin Recean was quoted in a press release.

The parties also discussed regional security issues, reconfirming the position of both states condemning Russia’s war against Ukraine.
