The Transnistrian administration decided that December 31 will be a nonworking day on the left side of the Nistru River, IPN reports.

The local press reported that December 31 for public sector employees will be calculated as a workday before holidays, meaning this day will be paid as a seven-hour workday.

On the occasion of the winter holidays, the inhabitants of the Transnistrian region have an eight-day vacation, from December 31 until January 7 inclusive.

On the right side of the Nistru, December 31 is a workday. In January, the public sector employees will have a five-day vacation, from January 4 until January 8. January 6 was declared a nonworking day, but January 11 will be a workday instead of this.
