December 1 is last day for submissions for heat compensations

The families from the municipality of Chisinau with monthly incomes of 1,450 lei a month per person, who received compensations for heat last year, can apply for compensations this year too, until December 1, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to a communiqué from the Chisinau City Hall, compensations for heat will also be provided to families on incomes lower than the minimum subsistence level, who didn’t receive such support earlier. These persons can file applications throughout the 2012-2013 heating season. The compensation represents 40% of the heat bill. During the current heating season, the Chisinau administration will fill out social questionnaires for the recipients of compensations so as to verify the correctness of the presented data. About 18,000 persons submitted repeatedly applications to receive compensations this season as well. The people living in the districts of Botanica, Centru, Rascani and Buiucani can lodge applications with the municipal housing stock managing enterprises No. 1 – 23. The residents of Ciocana district can apply to the Ciocana district head’s office, through the agency of housing stock managers. Approximately 38,000 families received compensations for heat from the Chisinau City Hall during the 2011-2012 heating season. The compensations totaled 77 million lei.
