Debt collection profession will be regulated by new association

The companies INCASO and Colect Capital Grup, which specialize in debt collection, set up the Employers Association of Debt Collection Companies. By this association, they aim to lay down a set of principles of professional ethics that would be respected by the debt collection companies in the relations with the debtors, private individuals and legal entities, Info-Prim Neo reports. ”Such an association that will promote the rules of professional conduct in debt collection was necessary in Moldova,” said the association’s co-chairman and INCASO director general Veaceslav Marza. The association approved a code of conduct for the companies that want to join in. It will provide consultancy on the legal methods of recovering and managing the debts.
