The number of deaths associated with the novel coronavirus rose to 87. The Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection said two women and a man died in the evening of April 24, IPN reports.
According to the Ministry of Health, the 61-year-old woman is from the municipality of Chisinau. She was admitted to the Emergency Medicine Institute on April 10. She suffered from diabetes and hypertension.
One of the men aged 66 was from Căuşeni district. He was transferred from the Comrat District Hospital to the Emergency Medicine Institute on April 14. He was diagnosed with bilateral pneumonia and also had chronic kidney disease.
The third victim is a man aged 63 from Criuleni district. He was transferred to the Emergency Medicine Institute on April 13 in a very serious state. He also suffered from cardiac insufficiency and hypertension.
The number of confirmed infections with COVID-19 exceeds 3,110.
