Deadly speed

A deadly accident took place in Costesti village, Ialoveni district. A 47 year old man died on Tuesday evening, August 2, after his vehicle overturned as a result of speeding. Dana Andronic, press officer of the Traffic Police, told Info-Prim Neo that the accident happened on a village road. The man lost control of the vehicle, then skidded and overturned. The driver died instantly. Lidia Bivol, Costesti Town Hall secretary, told Info-Prim Neo the man wasn't a local, but had moved there several years ago, after marrying a woman in the village. He had two children, aged 15 and 24. His wife was working abroad.
