The property tax and land tax calculated for the current fiscal year can be paid with a reduction of 15% if the payments are made by June 30, IPN reports.
The tax that is to be paid with the reduction is indicated in the payment notices sent to taxpayers, said Stela Gutu, division head at the Main Sate Tax Inspectorate. “If the notice didn’t reach the destination for various reasons, the taxpayers should go to the local Tax Inspectorate in the district or raion where the realty is located. When the taxpayers have several possessions, they must go to the local Tax Inspectorate to pay tax for every possession separately,” she stated.
Stela Gutu reminded that June 29 and June 30 this year fall on Saturday and Sunday. In order to benefit from the 15% reduction, the tax must be paid by June 28 inclusive. The reduction is offered only when the whole tax paid is transferred to the budget and this operation requires time.
