Days of Moldovan Wines and Culture to be held in Warszawa

The days of Moldovan wine and culture will take place during June 20-21, 2006, in the capital of Poland, Warszawa. According to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), the goal of this event is the development of the commercial-economic collaboration of both countries and promotion of wine production on foreign markets. Sources from the Agro-industrial Agency “Moldova-Vin” communicated for Info-Prim Neo that, during these days, in Poland will take place the Festival of Moldovan wine and culture, within which will work and exhibition of wines. At the exhibition 11 most well-known Moldovan wine enterprises will participate. The Moldovan delegation will be heded by the general director of the Agro-industrial Agency “Moldova-Vin”, Valeriu Mironescu. The work group includes representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Poland, of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Economy and Commerce, Culture and Tourism, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Customs Service, and also of the Organization for promotion of exports from Moldova. The official inauguration ceremony of the Days of Moldovan Wine and Culture will take place on June 20, starting 11:00 AM, at the Palace of culture and science in Warszawa. According to official information, in 2005, Moldova exported in Poland wines amounting to 2 million USD, and in the first three months of 2006 – already to 750 thousand USD.
