The Moldovan culture and traditions will be promoted during the Days of Chisinau that will be staged in Virrei Amat square of Nou Barris quarter in Barcelona on July 9, IPN reports.
The Spanish city will host a concert featuring Moldova artists and bands and also music and dance ensembles of the host country. The band Zdob și Zdub and the Orchestra of the Advahov Brothers are the special invitees of the event.
The culture of Spain will be presented by the dance ensemble Esbart Dansaire de Rubi, which was founded in 1923 and celebrates the centennial this year.
Among the artists who will perform during the Days of Chisinau in Barcelona are Angela Mocanu, Daniel Gram, Folcloric Band, Dj Sergiu Bulgar, and the Fire Group of Nou Barris.
The Days of Chisinau in Barcelona are an extraordinary occasion for promoting the Moldovan culture in such an important European capital as Barcelona, the Chisinau City Hall noted in a press release.
The event starts at 6pm. Besides watching the concert, the visitors will be able to taste Moldovan traditional dishes.
