The day camps in the municipality of Chisinau completed their programs, except for one institution that will continue for one more round. The summer camps, sports camps from outside the city and the ecological camp at the Young Naturalists’ City Center continue welcoming children, as do extra-school institutions, camps of arts schools, thematic camps of community centers for children and teens and thematic camps entitled “Summer Challenges” organized by the Municipal Library “B. P. Hasdeu” with its branches, IPN reports.
In the ordinary meeting of officials of municipal services, Andrei Pavaloi, deputy head of the General Education, Your and Sport Division, said the price of a ticket to day camps for 15 days was 2,525 lei, but the parents paid only 20% of the cost or 505 lei. 15% of the tickets were provided free of charge.
Over 3,700 children of the over 9,900 planned rested as summer camps so far. At the camp “Cireșarii”, the second round started on June 18, while at the camps “Alunelul” and “Poienița Veselă” on June 19.
