Data recorded by 112 Service to be stored for ten years

All the information logged by the 112 Service will be stored for a period of up to ten years in an automated information system that has been used on a trial basis until now, IPN reports.

The regulations concerning the method of keeping the state register formed by the automated information system of the Common Emergency Phone Service 112 were approved by the Cabinet.

The collection of data and the completion of the emergency call files will be ensured by the 112 Service. Information for the database will be provided by the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection and the Ministry of Defense. The specialized institutions will have access to the register based on applications.
