The social mentoring program DARE awarded the best social ideas implemented within the third DARE2Change project that ended on December 10. This time, 25 young women benefitted from three-month mentoring within the project.

Relating about her experience, another mentor, journalist Violeta Scrishu said for a mentor, the moment when this sees the result of the investment made in a person is very emotional. “In the own mentoring relationship, I managed to make my mentee more proud of herself, more ambitious and confident and …happier. DARE2Change is a project designed to change people’s lives. I learned that the integration of marginalized groups in the Republic of Moldova depends on us, including on me, and this motivates me to become involved in other projects of the kind in the future,” said the young woman.
For the important contribution of the DARE2Change program in the area of human rights, on December 8, 2016 DARE founder Natalia Vozian was awarded the UN Human Rights Prize for civic activism.
