Dan Olaru becomes European archery vice champion

Dan Olaru has won silver at the European Indoor Archery Championship that was held in the French town of Vittel, IPN reports.

In the final, the 20-year-old Moldovan archer was beaten by Italy’s David Pasqualucci 2-6. The silver medal at the European championship is the best result achieved by Olaru at an individual seniors event.

Last year Dan Olaru, alongside Alexandru Mirca, became European champion in the mixed team archery event. Also in 2016, Dan Olaru won the title of world junior vice champion.
