Dacia Chisinau have been crowned Moldovan champions for the first time in the club’s history. The medals have been awarded on Sunday, May 22, after the last game of the season- a 2-0 Dacia victory over Gagauzia Comrat. The players went on to celebrate in a night club, Info-Prim Neo reports. Milsami Orhei finished third, which is their best ever result. Stefan Stoica and his players bested FC Costuleni 3-0 in the last round. Striker Gheorghe Boghiu netted again, raising his goal-tally at 26 and winning league’s top scorer award. Milsami are now waiting for a decision regarding their participation in Europa League, as they were not granted a license by UEFA. Dinamo Bender finished at the bottom of the table after a disastrous second half of the season. In their last fixture, they were defeated 0-2 by Olimpia Balti and were relegated to Division A.
