The Dacia Boulevard, from the Chisinau International Airports till the viaduct, is packed with policemen. Contacted by Info-Prim Neo, Municipal Police Chief Silviu Musuc stated that the policemen will stay remain on Dacia Blvd until the end of German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s visit. Ministry of Interior employees stand at a distance of approximately 100 meters from each other, and less. It is not excluded that close to 2pm the traffic be redirected to adjacent streets. Authorities have undertaken a series of security measures related to the arrival of the German Chancellor to Chisinau. All manhole covers from the airport till the center of the capital have been welded. Access to several public places and streets will be temporarily restricted, and the sale of beverages and ice-cream in the “Stefan cel Mare” Public Garden has been stopped. The German Chancellor will be joined on her visit to Chisinau by a delegation of about 50 people. This is the first visit of the German Chancellor to Moldova. The plane of the official delegation is expected to land at the Chisinau International Airport at 2:35pm. Cancelarul german va fi însoţită la Chişinău de o delegaţie formată din circa 50 de persoane. Aceasta este prima vizită a cancelarului german în Republica Moldova. Avionul delegaţiei oficiale este aşteptat să aterizeze pe Aeroportul Internaţional Chişinău la ora 14.35.
