Dacia and Sheriff scored victories in the last but one stage of the national football champions and have a similar score before the last stage. On May 20, the two teams meet in Speia village of Anenii Noi district. The winner will become the new champion of Moldova. In case of a draw, the ‘golden’ game will take place in Chisinau, IPN reports.
On May 15, Dacia beat Zimbru where Romanian coach Flavius Stoican made his debut. The two goals for Dacia in the second half of the game were scored by Bejan and Zagynailov. “If we had taken at least one of the multiple occasions we had in the first half, the result would have been different,” stated Flavius Stoican.
Sheriff defeated Saxan by the same score, 2-0. The goals were scored by Rebenja and Gansari. The other matches of the 26th stage ended as follows: Dinamo-Auto - Milsami 1-0, Speranta - Academia 0-0, and Zaria - Petrocub-Hancesti 4-2.
