Czech minister of foreign affairs comes to Chisinau

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Jakub Kulhánek will pay a visit to Chisinau on September 10, at the invitation of the Deputy Prime Minister Nicu Popescu, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration. The program of the Czech official’s visit includes meetings with his Moldovan counterpart Nicu Popescu, Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu and Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița, IPN reports.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration said the discussions will center on the main aspects of the Moldovan-Czech cooperation, development aid programs intended for Moldova and the European agenda of the Republic of Moldova, ahead of the upcoming Eastern Partnership Summit.

The two officials will make statements for the press in a joint news conference at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, starting at 11:25am. The news conference will be broadcast live on the Ministry’s Facebook page.
