Czech Ambassador completes duties in Moldova

The Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Chisinau Zdeněk Krejčí is completing his duties in the Republic of Moldova. In a farewell meeting at the Ministry of Foreleg Affairs and European Integration, it was noted the contribution made by the diplomat to strengthening the relations of friendship and cooperation between the two states, IPN reports.

Secretary of state at the Ministry Dumitru Socolan expressed his gratitude to Ambassador Zdeněk Krejčí for the work done during his tenure and for his personal involvement in the implementation of Czech assistance projects in Moldova, in such areas as good governance, agriculture, rural development and sustainable management of natural resources.

The interlocutors underlined the constant development of the commercial and economic relations and the importance of restoring the joint intergovernmental commission for economic cooperation.

They welcomed the intense development of the relations between the two states during the last few years, with Dumitru Socolan noting the Czech Republic’s constant sincere support for Moldova’s European aspirations and its continuous support for the efforts made to restore the territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova.

The Moldovan official wished Zdeněk Krejčí good luck in his future activities, expressing his conviction that the Czech diplomat will remain a friend of Moldova and a supporter of the development of the relations between the two states.
