Cypriot suspected of having tried to illegally draw out a gas pistol from Moldova

A Cypriot is suspected by the police of having tried to draw illegally a gas pistol and 7 compressed air cylinders from Moldova, Info-Prim Neo reports. After a check on the airline “Chisinau-Athens-Larnaca,” a Baikal- type gas pistol, 7 compressed air cylinders with no license and other illegal acts have been traced out in the luggage of a citizen from Cyprus, reads a release by the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The 29-year-old suspect stated for the police that he had bought the pistol from a bazaar in Balti. If he is found guilty of carrying dangerous substances and objects, the Cypriot can be fined and his objects confiscated.
