The U.S. Embassy in Moldova invites all the cyclists to take part in a race on the Sarateni-Soroca road, which was renovated with the support of the American people, on October 19. The race will involve U.S. Ambassador William H. Moser and Prime Minister Iurie Leanca, IPN reports.
According to a press release of the U.S. Embassy in Chisinau, the 74 km race starts in Volovita village of Soroca district at 8am. About 100 cyclists are expected to take part in it.
The cycling race will include a professional competition, organized by the Moldovan Cycling Federation, which will involve professional bicyclists. The competition starts in Ciripcau at 10am and ends in Branzenii Noi. The award ceremony will be held in Saratenii Vechi.
At 1pm, Prime Minister Iurie Leanca and other persons ready to ride up to the bridge in Saratenii Vechi will join the competitors in Branzeni Noi, Telenesti.
