The incomes collected by the Customs Service into the state budget during November 14-20, 2016 came to 371.1 million lei, IPN reports, quoting the Service’s press office.
As many as 9,491 customs value declarations and 10,452 vignettes to the value of over 1.8 million lei were issued in the period.
Moldova’s borders were crossed by 91,259 units of transport. The highest traffic volumes were recorded on the Moldovan-Romanian border. Sculeni and Leuseni remained the most popular border crossing points with 17.468 and, respectively, 14,940 crossings.
As regards fraud combating, 42 attempts to break the customs legislation were identified in the period. There were discovered 30 contravention cases and imposed fines of 50,465 lei.
