Culture Division to contribute money to Gicu Cimbir’s operation

Mayor of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca addressed to the persons who are to blame for the accident in which singer Gicu Cimbir was injured to contribute to the collection of funds for the artist’s treatment, Info-Prim Neo reports. The mayor considers the persons to blame, including the administrator of the route of the involved minibus, should donate money for the expensive heart operation that Gicu Cimbir is to undergo. Dorin Chirtoaca said the Culture Division will also allocate money for the surgery from its reserve fund. Recently, a number of singers from Chisinau gave a charity concert to raise funds for Gicu Cimbir. The accident happened in Chisinau on the viaduct in September. The minibus in which Gicu Cimbir was traveling crashed into a trolleybus. The singer suffered several fractures and a concussion. After the accident, he had a heart attack.
