The price of cucumbers at the market increased, while of tomatoes remained at the same level as last week. One kilogram of cucumbers can be bought for 7-8 lei, as opposed to 5-6 lei a week ago. Tomatoes cost 8 lei and up. The yellow and pink tomatoes are sold for 15-16 lei per kilogram, IPN reports.
Cabbage and vegetable marrows cost 4 lei/kg. A cob with corn can be bought for 2-3 lei. A kilogram of eggplants costs 7-8 lei, while of bell peppers 5-7 lei per kg. One kilogram of pods costs 10 lei. A bunch of parsley, dill or green onion tops is sold for 2 lei, as earlier. Potatoes cost 4 lei/kg.
Brambleberry appeared at the market. This is sold for 50 lei per kg. Plums cost 15 lei and up. One kilogram of apricots costs 12 lei and up, while peaches are sold for 10-12 lei. Raspberry can be bought for 25 lei per kilogram.
One kilogram of black, red and white currants is sold for 30 lei. Watermelons cost 3-4 lei/kg, while melons 12-15 lei.
