The National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE) issued a new license allowing to produce electric power, valid for a period of six months, to the Cuchurgan power plant situated in Transnistria, Info-Prim Neo reports. In a communique, the Agency says the power station obtained a similar license at the start of this year. In the same period, the ANRE also issued 13 licenses allowing working on the oil products market. By July 1, the Agency has issued 238 licenses for work on Moldova's energy market to 155 companies. Under the legislation, the ANRE issues licenses for work on the electric power and natural gas markets for a period of 25 years and licenses for work on the oil products market for five years. The taxes for the licenses are transferred to the state budget. Currently, 18 companies work on the electric power market under 21 licenses, 27 companies with 54 licenses operate on the natural gas market, while 110 companies with 163 licenses work on the oil products market.
