Crossing of internal customs posts simplified for Easter

During the period of the Easter holidays, the procedures for crossing the internal customs posts will be simpler. The subject was discussed in a meeting of the working groups on customs matters, which involved experts from both banks of the Nistru River, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the Customs Service. In the meeting, there were identified new mechanisms for cooperation in combating frauds and exchanging operative information on the transportation of goods via the Transnistrian region and the internal checkpoints. The offense combating measures will be stepped up and steps will be taken to eliminate any possibility of conveying goods by bypassing the internal customs posts, said the Customs Service director general Tudor Balitski.
