The police took legal action over “kidnapping” in the case of the child who went missing in Hâncești town two days ago.
Contacted by IPN for a comment, the head of the Hâncești Prosecutor’s Office Remus Moroz said the circumstances made them start a criminal case over kidnapping given that the child was searched in all the possible places and could not be found.
According to Remus Moroz, the searches go on and involve both police officers and volunteers, with civil society also lending a hand.
The six-year-old child from Hâncești town, Beniamin Osipciuc, went missing on May 26.
