Cracked pipe leaves consumers in Chisinau without water

A number of Chisinau residents living on Vasile Lupu St were disconnected from the water supply after fissures appeared in a pipe. Adrian Cecan, head of the central dispatcher’s office of “Apa-Canal Chisinau”, has told Info-Prim Neo that the supply of water to an apartment building and four private houses was interrupted. The pipe cracked because it was worn out. According to Adrian Cecan, the accident was reported at about 8.30. In two hours, the problem was fixed and the water supply was restored. Adrian Cecan could not yet say how much water was lost.
