A married couple from Chisinau were found dead in an apartment in Râșcani district of Chisinau. The police arrested the 67-year-old owner of the apartment on charges of murder. This is an acquaintance of the man aged 56 and his 55-year-old wife whom he invited to his place, IPN reports.
According to the Chisinau Police Division, the medical examiner found signs of violent death on the bodies of the two. The apartment owner admitted to killing the two after drinking alcoholic beverages together with them.
The suspect was placed under arrest for 30 days. He faces 15 to 20 years behind bars or life.
