The costs for maintaining persons accommodated in social institutions will be indexed by 13.94% this year, as a bill approved by the Government provides, IPN reports.
The proposed indexation is conditional on the consumer price index for this year.
The costs are associated with food, medicines, clothing, footwear, hygiene products and toys.
The decision takes effect on April 1 and covers the social institutions of all types and levels.
