Head of Parliament Igor Corman will take part in the plenary sitting of the European Parliament where the Association Agreement between the European Union and Moldova is to be ratified, IPN has learned from the legislature’s press service.
The sitting takes place in Brussels on November 12-13. While in Brussels, Igor Corman will have meetings with the President of the European Parliament Martin Schulz and the leaders of the political groups of the European Parliament.
The Committee on Foreign Affairs of the European Parliament on October 16 endorsed the ratification of the Association Agreement between the EU and Moldova by a majority of votes. So far the accord has been ratified by the legislative bodies of Romania, Bulgaria, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, and Malta.
